Drawn To Comics Free Comic Book Day 2019 is May 4th, 2019

Drawn To Comics 15th Annual Free Comic Book Day Event is this Saturday, May 4th.The Drawn To Comics event of the year is back, Free Comic Book Day and this year is going to be the best event yet!  We will be hosting the event at both Drawn To Comics and Velma Teague Library for the second consecutive year.  This year we will have over 25 artists, 5 Podcast shows in the first ever Free Comic Book Day Podcast Row, Children’s Comic Book Reading time, local Music group Driftwood Quintet, Dratini on the Rocks and so much more.

Drawn To Comics will also be doing a great day of events that include games, Comic Book Story time, a magic show and the first ever Podcast Row of local Pop Culture Podcasters.

Kingdom of Umbria Medevil Sword fight demonstrations from 11am to 5p with intermediate rest breaks during the event.

Magic Show with local Magician, Michael Wilbanks from 12p-1245p in the Kids corner of the library

Free Comic Book Day Megacast from 2p to 3p featuring the group Podcasts of Absolute Geek, The Comic Chronicle, Comic Playground, Couch Crunchers and the Nerd With Balls Podcasts.

Kids Comic Book Story time at 230p and 330p with local artist and art teacher Sean Sautter readind and discussing the latest kids comic books.

there will also be lots of other booths and activities taking place including booths of local businesses that include Brelby Theater, Papa Ed’s Ice Cream, Very Awesome Girls of Phoenix, Comic Care and Ken’s Buttons.
